OmniRide

Omniride

OmniRide serves people traveling from Prince William and Stafford counties. It has added eight new bus runs serving commuters near the Rt. 234 and I-95 corridor. The Mixing Bowl Express offers neighborhood pickup in the Montclair and south Rt. 1 neighborhoods. It also stops at a new park-and-ride location near Rt. 1 and Rt. 234. Buses currently offer services up the HOV lanes to the Pentagon and downtown Washington, DC (new routing east of 14th Street).

OmniRide commuter buses provide service from Dale City, Lake Ridge, Montclair, south Rt. 1, and all major park & ride lots to destinations including the Pentagon, Crystal City, downtown DC, and the Franconia/Springfield Metrorail station. FREE rides to VRE trains also are available.

OmniRide passengers arrive at work rested and relaxed in much less time than people traveling on the regular lanes through the construction zone. OmniRide passengers qualify for MetroChek discounts if offered by their employers. Prince William Metro Direct

OmniRide has also launched a service that gives passengers access to a continuous hourly loop weekdays between the Franconia-Springfield Metro station and eastern Prince William County. It's called Prince William-Metro Direct.

By taking the Metro to the Franconia-Springfield station, metro Washington area residents are able to reach places in eastern Prince William County including Potomac Mills Mall and other job opportunities. By transferring to the OmniLink local bus service, passengers can reach several other places in the county as well.

Metro Direct also gives Prince William commuters more flexibility. Working non-traditional hours? No problem. Taking an OmniRide bus will save wear and tear on your vehicle and allow you to avoid congestion in the Springfield Interchange. No more driving alone and sitting in traffic because a child is sick, for a midday appointment or take a half-day of vacation. Arrive home feeling relaxed and spend the time saved with the family.
